Fall-oween

This Listing is for a pre-order item.

Living in Texas, where fall doesn’t really show up, I have fond memories of my time living in Michigan where fall actually brought a change of seasons. This was created with those memories and feelings in mind.

Fall is such a fun time of year and it includes so many things I love.  This is my fun take on the transition that happens as we move through the season.  In designing this piece, I wanted something can stay up all the way thru Halloween.

Stitch Count 375x100

Fabric is 46ct Topaz by Fiber on a Whim

Stitched one strand of floss over two fabric threads

Threads: The Gentle Art: Cast Iron Skillet, Chalk, Dark Chocolate

Weeks Dye Works: Clockwork, Flatfish, Guacamole

DMC: 03, 29, 355, 402, 422, 677, 720, 730, 832, 840, 3031, 3821, 3852

There is a DMC thread conversion within the pattern.

Note:  I did my best to use DMC, however to achieve the variegation in the lettering, WDW Clockwork was used. DMC thread will not achieve quite the same look, but could be used. You will need multiple skeins to achieve the finished look.

This pattern uses full crosses and a very small amount of back stitching.
