Summer by the Sea

How many holidays are taken by water?  It seems our longing for the sea is always our first choice for a holiday and in stitching it is the same, we are drawn to ocean themed patterns whether you live by water or you don't. This pattern "Summer by the Sea" is the second in the journey of the sea in all seasons. It is part of a greater whole- 4 samplers that creates one. You can certainly do just the one season, that is fine too, but they do look lovely together and create a grand 'by the sea' sampler.  Each Sampler is approx. 6 x 6- and as a great whole creates a little over 12 x12.  It is stitched on 32 ct Meadow Mist by Zweigart's Silkweaver fabric.
